Replacing the vector visuals of old, you're dropped into a ship defending a planet from on-coming asteroids. Excellent lighting effects, wicked looking explosions and smooth, fast moving frame rates is what you'll expect and get to see in this re-vamped version of the arcade classic. Environments have changed to add much needed flame and fanfare as you blast through several different stages.
Blow up the oncoming asteroids before they smash into you, or float past you. The game hasn't changed much in the last few years, in which when you fire on an asteroid, it'll blow up into smaller fragments that you have to chase around the screen. Two player action revolves around co-operating in taking care of business. The replay value of the game is high, because you can unlock a few things with certain requirements being met.
